The Role: Supervisor, Registration and Renewals (Contract role up to 24 months)
We are seeking a Supervisor, Registration and Renewals to join the College on a contract term. This role is responsible for overseeing the College’s Registration and Renewals plans and processes while providing support and guidance to staff in the timely completion of all associated tasks and activities for Registration and Registrant files. Reporting to the Manager, Registration and Renewals and as a member of the management team, you will support the Registration Appeals Committee.
What you will be doing in the role:
Program Area
- Implement policies, procedures and best practices for the Registration and Registrant services portfolios.
- Review Registration files and escalate more complex files to the Manager for discussion.
- Act as a staff resource to the Registration Appeals Committee.
- Audit the entry of registration and renewal information into systems, generating reports, analyzing data and identifying trends.
- Monitor and evaluate changes to processes to support efficiency and effectiveness.
- As a second level escalation point, liaise with applicants and registrants to resolve complex and/or sensitive issues.
- Implement the records management process for storage and retention of Registration and Registrant files.
People Leadership
- Supervise workflow and distribution of resources to meet service needs and timely completion of Registration and Registrant files and activities.
- Foster a team environment by role modeling leadership behaviour, organizational values, empowering employees, and building team capacity.
- Coach, mentor and inspire a professional and results-oriented team to achieve their objectives individually and collectively, emphasizing a culture of exemplary customer service.
- Participate in the hiring, training, and evaluation of staff in accordance with the policies of the organization and best human resources practices.
What you will bring to the role:
- A post-secondary diploma or degree; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- A minimum five years’ relevant and progressive experience in member/registrant focused services or relevant regulatory experience.
- A minimum three years experience as a people leader with the proven ability to lead, coach, and provide constructive feedback, to manage performance and support skills development.
- Knowledge of professional regulation, registrant/member services, including an understanding of regulated professions.
- Demonstrated experience working with, or supporting leadership with, Councils, Boards and/or Committees
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to effectively establish and build trust and relationships with key groups.
- Demonstrated high-level of political acuity, ability to meet tight deadlines, work under pressure and handle confidential and sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy.
- Excellent time management, problem solving and organizational skills with a keen eye for details and a strong sense of follow through.
- Skills and talents that allow you to easily navigate multiple tasks setting priorities, achieving deadlines, while being accurate and attentive to details.
- Demonstrated experience collecting and analyzing information extracted from relational databases, making data informed decisions
- Technologically savvy with proven expertise and hands-on experience in effectively utilizing the Microsoft 365 suite and relational databases.
- Fluency/proficiency in French an asset

- The position is a contract role for up to 24 months.
- Hiring salary range $97,170 – $100,514.
- Downtown Toronto office (directly on Line 2 of the TTC).
