I bring more than 40 years of experience in investigations, leadership, and regulatory compliance. I spent 37 years with the Ontario Provincial Police, retiring as a Superintendent, before moving into senior investigative leadership roles with the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council and Legal Aid Ontario. I currently work as a Senior Investigator with Professional Engineers Ontario, investigating professional conduct complaints and preparing reports that support fair and well-reasoned decisions.
Throughout my career, I've managed complex investigations, led and mentored investigative teams, and worked to improve investigative practices and processes. I am a Qualified Mediator with experience in workplace fairness and conflict resolution.
I understand the importance of balancing public protection with procedural fairness, particularly when dealing with sensitive complaints that can have significant consequences for everyone involved. The Conduct Operations Lead position interests me because it offers an opportunity to draw on both my investigative and leadership experience while contributing to a strong, effective professional regulatory process.
