I am a francophone from Sudbury, Ontario. I grew up with both languages (English and French), and went to primary and secondary schools in the French Catholic separate school system. I then completed my college (Medical Laboratory Technology at Cambrian College in Sudbury) and university (Western University in London) in English. I was a medical laboratory technologist for many years, then was offered an opportunity to work for the Ontario Laboratory Accreditation program as a bilingual staff coordinator. I moved to British Columbia for a similar role at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.
I also worked for diagnostic companies (Bio-Rad and Roche) where I became more focused on regulatory processes. I completed courses for the role of Quality Assurance Specialist at the Academy for Applied Pharmaceutical Sciences (AAPS) in 2022. I then worked remotely for a Patient Service Program at Innomar Strategies as a bilingual quality control specialist.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, arts and crafts and choral singing.
