The Role: Coordinator, Digital Content and Design
We are seeking a dynamic Coordinator, Digital Content and Design to join the Communications team. This role requires an exceptionally creative, collaborative and detail-oriented professional, with a passion for producing impactful content. Reporting to the Director, Strategic Communications and Government Affairs, you’ll combine your passion for design, storytelling and digital strategy to create visually compelling content that aligns with the College’s broader strategic goals and objectives and resonates with the public we serve.
What you will be doing in the role:
- Coordinate and oversee the College’s website enhancements, ensuring it aligns with communications best practices, including AODA and WCAG compliance.
- Create and manage engaging visual assets, including graphics, videos, and other multimedia resources for web and social media in both English and French.
- Implement user-friendly content layouts to enhance navigation and engagement.
- Maintain consistency in content tone, style, and accessibility.
- Monitor and analyze web performance metrics to optimize content strategy.
- Support event management tasks and assist in producing materials for communications.
- Assist with the coordination and layout of digital publications, including the College’s Perspective and Employer Communiqué.
- Conduct basic user testing and feedback collection to inform content structure and design.
What you will bring to the role:
- A post-secondary diploma or degree in graphic design, art, digital communications or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum three years’ relevant and progressive experience in digital content management or communications.
- Strong proficiency in WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, and design software (e.g. InDesign, Photoshop).
- Familiarity with AODA and WCAG standards for digital accessibility and compliance coupled with experience with SEO principles and web accessibility standards.
- Basic copyrighting skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in graphic design and application of best practices for creating video content and multimedia resources in both English and French.
- A desire to take initiative, demonstrate professionalism, and sound judgment and seek support as necessary.
- Excellent time management, problem solving and organizational skills with a keen eye for details and a strong sense of follow through.
- Skills and talents that allow you to easily navigate multiple tasks setting priorities, achieving deadlines, while being accurate and attentive to details.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to effectively establish and build trust and relationships with key groups.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Technologically savvy with proven expertise and hands-on experience in effectively utilizing the Microsoft 365 suite.
- Proficiency in French is an asset.

- Hiring salary range $76,930 – $79,781.
