Job Title: Team Lead, ICRC

JOB PURPOSE
Oversees day-to-day activities of the operations of the Inquiries, Complaints and Reports Committee (ICRC) including administrative support and decision writing support to the ICRC and the Registration Committee (RC).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plans, recruits, trains and supervises work activities to achieve team goals in providing operational support to ICRC and RC: assigns and delegates work, provides feedback and coaching to enhance employee contributions, participates in recruitment and orientation activities, provides input and recommendations for performance assessments, and works with manager to identify performance expectations and goals.
- Coordinates ICRC processes by providing timely guidance and direction; develops and delivers orientation and training for ICRC chairs and members; supports committee governance; collaborates with internal and external partners/parties to support ICRC functions; identifies opportunities for enhanced efficiency and leads related projects; conducts regular workflow reviews ensuring matters are accounted for and moving through processes appropriately; supports collection of data regarding team functions; and develops and maintains committee resources, including policies and procedures, decision support tools and reference documents.
- Attends ICRC case review meetings and interacts with committee members and staff to support the committee in carrying out its statutory mandate.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- Law degree or regulated professional with a university degree in the health field (e.g. BScN, MSW, MScOT) or graduate degree in a related field; and
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a role that includes administrative tribunal or regulatory committee support; knowledge of administrative law principles related to procedural fairness, committee practices, decision requirements and risk-based/right touch regulation principles.

- Analytical & Critical Thinking – synthesizes and evaluates information to identify connections and draw conclusions; uses knowledge of administrative law, relevant and current legislation (Regulated Health Professions Act, Nursing Act), and CNO’s legislative framework to analyze information and determine most appropriate regulatory response.
- Proficient in MS Office such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
Hiring Range: $120,562 – $128,116
Full Salary Range: $120,562 – $144,674
