The College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) is seeking members of the public to fill positions on the following regulatory committees:
Term of appointment on each of these regulatory committees is three (3) years, commencing Oct. 1, 2024, and expiring Sept. 30, 2027.

Who Can Apply?
Applicants must be comfortable using a computer and internet connection. Familiarity with MS Office and MS Teams environments would be beneficial. (Support will be provided if required.)
Conflicts of Interest
Individuals appointed to Council must ensure their personal interests do not interfere with their duties as a Council member. The CRNA’s GP 2 – Conflict of Interest Protocol outlines the CRNA’s requirements and disclosure process.

Ready to Apply?
You will need to:
• Complete an expression of interest application AND
• Submit a current resumé.
All expression of interest applications must be submitted online through the CRNA website. (See the link below.) Following submission of their expression of interest application, applicants will be directed to submit a current resumé through a secure email address.
IMPORTANT: You will not be able to exit and re-enter the expression of interest application. If you exit at any time, all data entered will be lost and you will need to start again. You may, however, go back in the form to correct information at any time before you submit the expression of interest application.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN, please ensure you:
• Set aside at least 45 minutes to complete the expression of interest application.
• Have all required information available for reference when you begin completing your expression of interest application.
The expression of interest application will ask you to:
• Provide your contact information
• Introduce yourself
• Self-evaluate against a list of competencies and attributes* that includes ranking yourself on a scale of 1 to 5 for each competency and providing details to support your self-ranking
• Submit your current resumé
*The desired competencies and attributes are what the regulatory committee should possess as a group. Do not be discouraged from applying just because you only have a couple of these competencies and attributes — they may be exactly what the regulatory committee is looking for. Everyone will possess a small number of them, and contribute in their own way to the collective body.
