Director, Professional Affairs
The College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario is looking to fill the position of Director, Professional Affairs.
CPBAO is the governing body for psychology and applied behaviour analysis in Ontario. The College’s role is to regulate these professions in the public interest by setting the standards for competent and ethical practice. These regulatory activities include establishing entry-to-practice requirements, developing and promoting Practice Standards, supporting continuing competence, fostering professional engagement, and managing concerns related to professional conduct.
We are located at Yonge and Eglinton in mid-town Toronto. This is a full-time position which operates in a hybrid environment.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director, Professional Affairs is responsible for leading all aspects of the development and delivery of the College’s Quality Assurance, Client Relations and Professional Practice programs. The Director ensures that the College is meeting its legislated and policy-directed Quality Assurance requirements for all registrants. As a member of the Senior Management Team, the Director, Professional Affairs participates in, and contributes to, regular senior team meetings and strategic planning activities.
